Why You'll Love This Recipe
- These individual bars have a peanut butter base with chocolate on top of the bars!
- No-bake desserts are quick, easy, and ideal for hot weather!
- These little bites of heaven taste better than a Reese's peanut butter cup!
Ingredient Notes
- Graham Crackers - You can crush regular graham crackers in fine crumbs or purchase a box of graham cracker crumbs instead.
- Butter - I used salted butter. If you use unsalted butter, add ยฝ teaspoon salt to the peanut butter mixture.
- Peanut Butter - I prefer creamy peanut butter for this recipe, but if you like the peanut chunks, you can use crunchy peanut butter instead. You can also use natural peanut butter for this recipe.
- Chocolate Chips - Whether you use milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips for the chocolate layer is entirely up to you. You could even use dark chocolate chips.
Step by Step Instructions
- Line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper or wax paper if you want to be able to lift these out of the pan to cut them up.
- Crush the graham crackers to fine crumbs in a food processor or in a ziploc bag with a rolling pin.
- In a large bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar.
- Stir in the peanut butter and melted butter. Mix until very well combined.
- Pat out into an even layer in a 9x13 pan.
- Melt the chocolate chips carefully in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl. If you need help, check out these instructions on How to Melt Chocolate Chips in the Microwave.
- Spread the melted chocolate on top of the peanut butter layer.
- Refrigerate for about 1 ยฝ hours.
- Cut into small squares using a sharp knife and serve.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
