Why You'll Love This Recipe

  • These individuals bars have a peanut butter base with chocolate on top of the bars!
  • No bake desserts are quick, easy and ideal for hot weather!
  • These little bites of heaven taste better than a Reese's peanut butter cup!

Ingredient Notes

  • Graham Crackers - You can crush regular graham crackers in fine crumbs or purchase a box of graham cracker crumbs instead.
  • Butter - I used salted butter. If you use unsalted butter add ½ teaspoon salt to the peanut butter mixture.
  • Peanut Butter - I prefer creamy peanut butter for this recipe but if you like the peanut chunks you can use crunchy peanut butter instead. You can also use natural peanut butter for this recipe.
  • Chocolate Chips - Whether you use milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips for the chocolate layer is entirely up to you. You could even use dark chocolate chips.

Description

Alright peanut butter lovers! Are you craving some reese's peanut butter cups? Let's whip up a batch of these no bake bars that will curb that craving! You're just 5 simple ingredients away from these delicious peanut butter treats!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Butter, melted
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Line a 9x13 pan with parchment or wax paper if you are wanting to be able to lift these out of the pan to cut them up.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter and melted butter.  Mix until very well combined.
  4. Pat out evenly in a 9x13 pan.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips carefully in the microwave.
  6. Spread the melted chocolate across the peanut butter layer.
  7. Refrigerate for about 1 ½ hours.
  8. Cut into small squares and serve.

Notes

I believe this takes between 2 and 3 packages of graham crackers crushed in a food processor.  I usually just buy the box of graham cracker crumbs for convenience. They are found in the baking aisle in most stores.
