Make a batch of my Favorite Almond Sugar Cookie dough. To color my mummies, I use Avocado shade gel food coloring. I buy my food coloring from a kitchen/cooking store. After your dough is prepared, roll it out and using a gingerbread man cookie cutter, cut out your mummies. Once I place the cut outs on a cookie sheet, I press the legs together and place two mini M’n’M’s on the faces for the eyes. Lightly press the eyes on so they don’t fall off. Bake the sugar cookies according to my recipe and cool the cookies completely.
Line your cookies up on some wax paper in preparation for frosting. Using a #47 frosting tip pipe the mummy wrap onto your cookies with my best buttercream frosting!
