This raspberry lemonade frosting is easy to make, excellent to decorate a cake or cupcakes with, and will make your mouth pucker!
So I have come across a product that I have totally become obsessed with. I seriously may have a problem. You've probably tried the True Lemon water flavor drink packets. Well, I have discovered they can be used for so much more than flavoring water.
The lemon flavor is hands down my favorite flavor and just screams spring. So I started playing around with these drink mixes and came up with this raspberry lemonade frosting. And, oh my goodness, you have got to try this recipe! It is so good!
One thing that makes this frosting recipe so awesome is you do not have to zest or squeeze any lemons. You also do not have to worry about raspberry seeds and the challenges they come with either. Are you excited yet? Cream the butter, shortening, salt, and the pink food coloring.
You can add more after the powdered sugar if you want.ย I just like adding it to the butter because I think it mixes in more uniformly.ย Totally my opinion, though.ย Open 3 True Lemon Raspberry Lemonade drink packets and sprinkle them over the butter mixture.ย Beat well.
Beat in the powdered sugar and enough milk for the consistency you want, and ta-da!!!ย That's all there is to raspberry lemonade frosting.ย Frost your cakes or cupcakes and enjoy!

I'm excited to try this recipe! Just out of curiosity, how many cupcakes do you think I could frost with one batch of frosting? 24? Thanks so much!

I would say at least 24 if not more depending on how thick you like your frosting.
