In the mood for something different? Try these amazing Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies! Not only are they soft and chocolatey, but they are quick and easy, too!
I was in the mood to make cookies, but I didn't want to make the same kinds we usually have. I like to tweak ordinary cookie recipes into something just a little different. These chocolate oatmeal cookies are awesome!
They are soft, chocolatey, and really quick to make as well. You can leave them plain or stir in some chocolate chips, nuts, or different flavored chips. I would love to know what you think! Leave me a comment and let me know!

Is it really 1C flour for 12Tbsp of butter? My dough was too wet, qst batch was a total loss, had to add in another ยพC flour to get a proper cookie dough and get ok cookies
Mindee
Yes, that's correct. The oatmeal acts as flour in addition to the flour. Did you substitute any ingredients? What types of flour and oatmeal did you use?
