- ½ Cup Wheat Flour
- ½ Cup Quick Oats
- ¾ Cup All Purpose Flour
- ¼ Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 ¼ Cups Buttermilk
- 1 Egg
- ¼ Cup Canola Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Heat up your griddle!
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, quick oats, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Stir in the buttermilk, egg, canola oil and vanilla.
Scoop out the batter by heaping ¼ cupfuls and dump onto your hot griddle. Pat the batter out into circles slightly with the back of your scoop.
Cook both sides until golden!
