Fried Breakfast Scones
Dripping with butter and honey or sprinkled with powdered sugar, fried breakfast scones are simple, quick and impossible to resist!

- 2 ¼ Cups Flour
- 1 ½ Tbs . Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 ¼ Cups Warm Milk
- Oil for frying
Begin heating up the oil you will be frying your scones in to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
Stir in the milk. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
Dump dough onto a floured surface. Give the dough a quick knead or two, then roll or pat it out into a rectangle shape ¼ to ½ inch thick.
Cut into roughly 12 rectangle pieces.
Brush off the excess flour and fry each piece until golden brown on each side. Remove from the oil and place on a plate lined with a paper towel.
Serve hot with butter, honey, cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, or jam.
