Irresistible Chocolate Mousse Pie
This irresistible chocolate mousse pie is silky smooth, rich, chocolaty and well...irresistible. It's as easy to make as it is delicious!

- inch One 9 Oreo Pie Shell
- ½ Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips Milk Chocolate or Semi-sweet
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- ⅛ Cup Sugar
Over a double boiler or very carefully in the microwave heat ½ cup cream, chocolate chips, vanilla and a pinch of salt until chocolate chips are melted and everything whisks together smooth.
Cool chocolate mixture to room temperature.
In a small bowl, whip 1 cup of cream and ⅛ cup of sugar until stiff peaks form.
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
Pour into the oreo pie shell and chill for at least 6 hours.
Top with additional whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or jimmies if desired.
