  • 1/3 Cup Butter, melted
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 3/4 Cups Chocolate Chips (plus a small handful to sprinkle on the top)


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, melt the butter.
  3. Stir in the sugar.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin puree and egg.
  5. Add the baking powder, baking soda, salt and pumpkin pie spice.
  6. Mix in the half the flour.
  7. Add the chocolate chips with the last half of flour.
  8. Dump the batter in the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with additional chocolate chips.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  10. Cool in the loaf pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes at least before loosen the edges and turning out.
  11. Cool and eat!
