Double chocolate truffle cheesecake squares have a deep chocolatey crust and a smooth, truffle-like cheesecake top chocolate lovers will love!
Sorry for the treats and sweets overload this month. I promise to get back on track with dinner foods, side dishes and such in January. Also Tuesday I will be sharing a fantastic and easy coffee cake that would be perfect for a Christmas morning breakfast or brunch. So don’t forget to check your inboxes Tuesday for that one.
Today I am sharing my recipe for double chocolate truffle cheesecake squares. A few months ago I noticed that Eagle Brand had put out to flavored sweetened condensed milk. A chocolate flavored one and a caramel flavored one. I had to buy them. I had no idea what I was going to make with them at the time, but I was going to figure out something. This recipe uses the chocolate sweetened condensed milk. The bottom is a chocolatey crust and top the top is smooth and truffle like. My husband says the top tastes similar to the filling of a Lindor truffle ball. I have some serious chocolate lovers in my family and these have been a huge hit. And don’t worry I’ll come up with something that uses the caramel flavored sweetened condensed milk other than just eating it out of the can with a spoon.
